Brief History

The Blue Giraffe Child Care Center opened in 1989. We have been providing quality Early Childhood programs for infants through Pre-school for over 30 years.

Philosophy

We are committed to Early Childhood Education, and believe that a safe, nurturing environment that offers a rich blend of academic, social and physical activities will encourage a love of learning and a positive self image.

Our Goal

The goal of The Blue Giraffe is to provide a solid foundation on which parents can rely for their child's development and well-being. We want each child's experience with us to be worthwhile and happy. Our teachers will pay close attention to their capacity for learning and their unique personalities, as we help them to appreciate themselves and others.

Security

The safety of the children is our first priority, and with this in mind, the Blue Giraffe has installed an electronic entry system. Only parents and staff members will be able to gain access to the center with their PIN code. In addition, there are security cameras in all of the classrooms, on the playground and at the main entrance.

Educational Programs

Our educational programs are designed to support, encourage, and stimulate the growth and development of your child. Our curriculum includes social and emotional development, large & small motor skills, pre-printing, music, art and gym. All are presented at the level appropriate for each age group.

Our teachers all have degrees, and provide Early Childhood programs appropriate for the ages and developmental level of the children in their care.

We have large, bright classrooms that are furnished with the highest quality furniture and equipment.
